Explore Marine Mammals

Mammals are a group of warm-blooded vertebrates that feed their young on milk. Marine mammals are well suited to life in the sea and have either fur or thick layers of blubber to keep them warm.

The mammals represented here have all been sighted around Barwon Heads and include both cetaceans or whales, and their relatives such as dolphins, and the pinnipeds or seals.
