Phylum: Nemertea 

Description: Nemerteans are a phylum of animals also known as ribbon worms that have an amazing proboscis that can be shot out of their mouth to capture food. Most ribbon worms are only a few millimeters wide and burrow in sediments, lurk in crevices between shells, stones or the holdfasts of algae or sessile animals like mussels and tubeworms.
