Green Anemone

Scientific Name: Aulactinia veratra

Description: Sea anemones have a ring of stinging tentacles that surround their mouth and capture any prey that comes in contact with them.

Green algae living inside this anemone’s tentacles also allow them to make their own food in sunlight in return for a safe and nutrient rich environment for the tiny plants.
