Scientific Name: Heterozostera muelleri

Description: Growing along the edges of the Bluff and in the estuary, seagrass beds are important nurseries for juvenile fish, crustaceans, and molluscs.

This short seagrass grows in shallow areas of the estuary and grows from its base and does not branch.
