Sharing the Love Forum

Hosted by Friends of the Bluff, Barwon Heads, Victoria with support from Coastcare Victoria, Parks Victoria, and Barwon Coast.

The first Marine Volunteers Forum was held in 2012 at Barwon Heads. The forum was an initiative to celebrate, encourage, and support volunteers in the marine conservation space. It has since occurred roughly every two years at coastal locations across Victoria.

“Sharing the Love” will return to Barwon Heads in October 2025 with the main themes being community education/participation, citizen science, connecting communities and advocacy. The program will include great speakers, workshops hosted by volunteers, field activities in the Barwon Bluff Marine Sanctuary, and lots of great opportunities to share the love for Victoria’s incredible marine environment with other volunteers from across the state.
