Pycnogonids

Scientific Name: Pseudopallene ambigua

Description: Pycnogonids have a spider like appearance with up to eight pairs of legs. Because of the small size of their bodies part of their gut and reproductive organs extend into the legs.

To feed, they have a proboscis which is inserted into bryozoans, anemones and hydroids to suck out their internal fluids.
