Hairy Stone Crab

Description: This unusual crab has only three pairs of legs compared with the usual four in most shore crabs. It has a grey, flattened body covered with hairs, legs that are held close together, flat and wide claws, plus distinctive blue antennae.
They live beneath rocks where their body shape and colour disguise them from potential predators.
