Boney Fish / Small-toothed Flounder

Pseudorhombus jenynsii - Small-toothed Flounder
Like the mullet, these fish spend the early part of their life in the nearby estuary. Flounder begin life swimming like most fish with eyes on opposite sides. Soon after, they settle to the bottom and begin to swim on one side while one eye migrates around the head to join the other on the top of the head.
