(above left) Aerial shots of the town in 1947 and 1964 (above right0. In the image (above left), the dark line down the middle that then turns to the left and down again are the original trees that were planted in the 1930's along Hitchcock Avenue, Bridge Road and Golf Links Road. The first stages of the tree removal can be seen (above right) as well as the construction of the top oval in the park (middle bottom). 
(above) These next two are in 1984 (left) and 1990 (right), the series of images show the development of the town over the fifty-year period. An interesting point to observe is the movement of the sand bars and the river course up river as well as the sand movement on the point (The Spit), the Ocean Grove side of the river.
